Maison Tempore – Returns, Refunds, Exchanges & Promotions Policy

This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges and promotional orders work at Maison Tempore.


1. Time Limit to Request a Return

You have 30 calendar days from the date your order is delivered to:

  • Request a return, or
  • Report a problem with a watch in your order.

To be eligible, each watch must:

  • Be unworn and unused;
  • Show no signs of impact, scratches, or damage;
  • Be in excellent condition;
  • Include all original tags, links, tools, manuals, and packaging.

If these conditions are not met, we may reject the return or offer only a partial solution.


2. “Buy 1, Get More” Promotional Orders

In offers such as “Buy 1, Get some”:

  • You pay for one watch;
  • The additional items are included free of charge as part of the promotion.

Because of this:

  • Our standard warranty and refund rules apply only to the paid watch;
  • Free items do not have separate warranty coverage and cannot be exchanged or refunded individually;
  • You cannot request a refund for the paid watch and keep the promotional free items.

Any evaluation of free items is treated as a courtesy, not as an obligation.


3. Defective Watches

If the paid watch in a promotional order is confirmed to be defective after our analysis:

  • Our default solution is to send a replacement of the same model, at no extra cost.

If you do not want a replacement, Maison Tempore may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a refund limited to the amount paid for that watch; or
  • Offer store credit in the same value as the paid watch.

For each promotional order, we will never send more than one replacement for the paid item.


3.2 Defect in Free Promotional items

If only the free promotional watches are defective:

  • We are not required to send another free watch, issue a refund, grant store credit, or cover return shipping;
  • Free promotional items have no individual commercial value, so they do not carry their own warranty;
  • Any solution (replacement, discount, or credit) will be evaluated case by case, at the sole discretion of Maison Tempore;
  • When we do offer a solution, it is considered a goodwill gesture only and does not create a precedent for future cases.

3.3 Multiple Defective Items in the Same Order

If more than one watch in the same order is defective (whether paid or free):

  • We will review the order as a whole;
  • Depending on the analysis, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, or store credit.

The final solution will always depend on stock, the nature of the defect, and each specific case.


4. Returns and Exchanges for Personal Preference

Requests based solely on personal preference do not qualify for refunds. This includes, for example:

  • Not liking the watch in person;
  • Changing your mind after receiving the order;
  • How the watch looks or feels on your wrist (fit, size, weight, style);
  • Expectations that are subjective when the watch matches the description and photos on the website.

In these situations:

  • Promotional or free watches cannot be exchanged, returned, refunded, or converted into credit;
  • Customers cannot keep free promotional watches and still request a refund for the paid watch;
  • No full or partial refunds, discounts, or credits will be issued without the return of the paid product;
  • We will not send extra products as compensation when the original watch is in good condition and correctly described.

Any exception we may decide to offer is a voluntary commercial decision, not a right.


5. When Refunds Are Issued

Refunds are only issued in cases clearly covered by this policy and after:

  • The returned watch has been received; and
  • Our team has inspected and approved the condition of the item.

When a refund is applicable:

  • It covers only the value of the paid watch;
  • Shipping, handling, customs duties and import taxes are normally non-refundable, unless required by law;
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.

Requests related solely to fit, appearance, or personal preference do not qualify for refunds under this policy.


6. Return Shipping

  • The customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs, unless we state otherwise in writing;
  • For promotional orders, we do not provide prepaid return labels;
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service: if a return arrives without proof of delivery, we may not be able to confirm or process the return.

7. Limit on Replacements in Promotions

Regardless of the reason:

  • We will never send more than one replacement watch per promotional order;
  • Free promotional watches do not entitle you to repeated shipments or multiple replacements.

8. Alternative Commercial Solutions

In some specific situations - especially where there is dissatisfaction, change of mind, or reluctance to return the product - Maison Tempore may, entirely at its own discretion, offer an alternative commercial solution to close the case without a standard return/refund. For example:

  • Sending one alternative watch chosen from a suggested selection, at no extra cost;
  • Allowing you to keep the original watch without returning it.

If such a solution is offered, you understand that:

  • It does not create an automatic right to a refund;
  • It does not mean we are recognizing a defect in the original product;
  • It will not apply in repeated, excessive, or abusive requests;
  • It is limited to one additional watch per order.

Once you accept this type of solution, the case is considered fully resolved, and no further claims will be accepted for the same order and reason.
